The Before

This month we are thrilled to feature our client Caitlin Scott, an energy healer who came to us looking to expand her business while serving her audience and customers to the fullest extent. Her approach combines energy healing with traditional naturopathy to help individuals who have not found relief through mainstream medical channels.

Caitlin’s primary product is a Self Healing Program called D-Codes and when she came to us last July she was mainly interested in growing her email list, driving more traffic to her funnel, and then having that exposure bring in more sales. Before working with us she had some experience with Facebook ads but hadn’t found the perfect strategy for her business.

With Caitlin’s goals in mind, we’ve been focused on building visibility and generating leads for her funnel, including a live 3-day event, allowing those warm leads to be converted into her D-Codes program. The main goal here is to bring qualified, high-quality potential clients to her business, and given we helped generate over $135K in revenue in April, it’s safe to say the Embodied team is on the right track!

The Strategy

In our endeavor to introduce new clients to Caitlin's offer, we created a strategy centered around her 3-day live webinar event. We chose this strategy because it provided ample time and information for attendees, especially newcomers, to get to know, like, and trust Caitlin, while also showing them that without a doubt, her programs could provide the solutions they were seeking.

To implement this strategy effectively, we created cold and warm traffic campaigns to generate leads for the live event. We had a goal number of leads and maximum cost per lead we were willing to pay and constantly optimized the campaign to ensure that we were hitting those goals. This is critical in a live launch so that you get enough volume before the live event! 

We focused mainly on lookalike audiences based on Caitlin’s previous subscribers as well as a warm audience group that included her current list, IG and FB engagement, website visitors, etc.
 
Each ad set tested different ads against different audiences. The campaign was set up under "Campaign Budget Optimization", allowing Facebook to allocate a budget based on conversion likelihood. Once we identified the winning ad based on cost per lead, we launched a broad targeting ad set, which proved to be the best audience. At this point, Caitlin provided videos for us to use and after running a Dynamic Creative Test targeting the broad audience that was already converting well, it became the best converting ad set. We scaled and put the budget to only the top converting ads and campaigns!

During the ‘open cart period’ following the webinar, we ran retargeting ads to the event attendees and registrants from previous launches who hadn't yet purchased the program. We set up multiple ad sets testing out different ad versions as well as a dynamic creative version and found that one of our individual versions (shown below) performed the best. 

Our retargeting approach proved highly successful and exceeded our projected ROAS for the launch!

The Results

With 9,432 landing page views and 4,271 leads generated, the campaign achieved a cost per lead of $3.54, and a landing page conversion rate of an impressive 45.28%.

During the open cart period post-webinar, our retargeting ads (to ad and organic traffic) resulted in 51 purchases and $135,174.19 in sales, yielding an impressive return on ad spend (ROAS) of 54x.

When we separated our ad performance, the results were outstanding. With 27 sales and an estimated value of $71,562.80, and an exceptional 25x ROAS, Caitlin's launch crushed it!

Our main objective this entire time has been to simply get eyes on Caitlin’s offers and to expose the right people to her programs because once they move through the funnel, her program sells itself!

From here, we can expect to see more success as we continue to refine and develop Caitlin’s marketing strategy to grow with her business. Marketing is not a one-size-fits-all, and as she pulls in more customers and revenue, there are new strategies we can implement to capitlize on the increased traffic, leads and even customers!
